Put the pedal to the metal
A college education – whether it’s a technical certification, two-year
vocational program or four-year degree – can mean the difference between
finding an exciting and rewarding career and just getting a job. Bottom line
– college graduates earn as much as 73 percent more than people with high
school diplomas.
Here are some interesting facts the value of a college education. A firefighter with a high school diploma will make between $12,000 and $15,000 a year. A restaurant hostess with that same high school education will make $12,000 to $21,000 a year. BUT a computer programmer with a college education can make $40,000 to $75,000 in one year, and a chemical engineer with a college degree can make up to $95,000 in one year. Which salary would you prefer?
