Early Graduation Scholarship Grant Program (EGSG)

Suspended for 2010-2011 for new applicants

  • Arizona's Early Graduation Scholarship Grant (EGSG) Program is a non-need based college access grant designed to encourage high school students to graduate early and promptly attend a regionally or nationally accredited Arizona postsecondary institution or vocational program.
  • Students who graduate from a public high school or charter school at least one semester early and enroll full time at an eligible Arizona postsecondary institution may receive up to $1,500, and students who graduate at least one year early ay receive up to $2,000.

Special Leveraging Educational Assistance Partnership (SLEAP)

  • SLEAP is also a meed based program designed to assist students who major in STEM or education programs at any regionally or nationally accredited institution in the State of Arizona.
  • Funds are limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis at the time of application completion.
  • Maximum award for SLEAP is $2,000 per year. Students may apply for both programs but may only be awarded from one program.

Postsecondary Education Grant Program (PEG)

Suspended for 2010-2011

  • This non-need-based grant is designed for Arizona residents who attend a pricate postsecondary baccalaureate degree granting institution in Arizona.
  • Maximum grant is $2,000/year for up to four years on a first-come, first-served basis.

Private Postsecondary Education Student Financial Assistance Program (PFAP)

Suspended for 2010-2011

  • This need-based grant is designed for students who graduate from an Arizona Community College and attend a private postsecondary baccalaureate degree granting institution in Arizona.
  • Maximum Grant is $2,000/year for up to two years on a first-come, first-served basis.

Leveraging Educational Assistance Partnership Program (LEAP)

  • State/Federal matching grant program provides aid to students who meet financial need criteria.
  • Grant is awarded at the institution.
